Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing, browsing, registering for, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of an entity, you represent and warrant you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will update the “Last Updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the revised Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, whichever is higher) and able to form a legally binding contract to use the Service. We may request age/identity verification at any time.

Accounts, Security, and One-Account Policy

• Account security: You are responsible for all activity under your account and for safeguarding your credentials.
• One person, one account: You may maintain only one account per person. Multi-accounting is prohibited, including to obtain extra rewards/CP/packs/cards, manipulate leaderboards/objectives/competitions, evade enforcement, or exploit the Service.
• Enforcement: If we determine or reasonably suspect multi-accounting, we may suspend/terminate all related accounts and reset, revoke, void, or confiscate associated virtual items, rewards, standings, and entitlements.

Entertainment Only; Not Gambling; Not Financial

CricSix is an entertainment product. It is not a financial product, investment, or security. It is not a betting/wagering service unless we explicitly state otherwise in writing and operate where lawful and licensed (not currently the case).

Virtual Items (Cards, Packs, CP)

• No cash value: CP, Cards, Packs, tiers, badges, rewards, and all virtual items have no cash value and are not redeemable for money.
• License, not ownership: Virtual items are provided as a revocable license to use within the Service, not as property.
• No real-money sales: CricSix does not sell CP, Cards, or Packs for real money at this time.
• Randomization: Pack outcomes may be randomized; results are not guaranteed and weights/rules may change.

Trading, Gifting, Transfers (Present/Future)

If and when transfer features are enabled, they may be limited, restricted by edition/rules, or disabled at any time. We may reverse, freeze, void, or correct transfers if we suspect abuse, fraud, exploitation, policy violations, technical error, or integrity risk. Transfers do not create real-world ownership rights.

Scoring, Competitions, and Corrections

Match/player data may be delayed, corrected, incomplete, or sourced from third parties and/or users. We may correct scoring, leaderboards, rewards, match results, and standings at any time, including retroactively.

Intellectual Property; Third-Party Logos and Likeness

CricSix does not own and claims no ownership rights to any third-party team/league/board names, logos, marks, uniforms, player names, photos, likenesses, signatures, broadcast footage, match photography, or proprietary statistics. Any references are for identification/informational purposes.

CricSix is not endorsed by, sponsored by, affiliated with, or authorized by any rights holder unless explicitly stated in writing.

User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit, but you grant CricSix a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and modify (for technical/formatting purposes) such content to operate, maintain, promote, and improve the Service.

Streaming and Content Creation

Streaming and content creation about CricSix is allowed. Do not misrepresent CricSix as affiliated with official leagues or rights holders, do not disclose other users’ private data, and do not use the Service to harass or promote illegal activity. We may request removal of content that violates these Terms or harms users/the Service.

Enforcement; Final Say

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CricSix may, in its sole discretion, interpret and enforce these Terms; investigate suspected violations; remove content; restrict features; adjust/void/reset CP, Cards, Packs, rewards, standings, and transfers; suspend or terminate accounts; and take any action we deem necessary to protect the Service, users, and integrity.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CRICSIX WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, DATA, OR USE.

CRICSIX’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED $100 USD.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CricSix from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content/submissions, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

Dispute Resolution (Arbitration) and Class Action Waiver

Before starting arbitration or a lawsuit, you agree to email thecricketsix@gmail.com and attempt informal resolution for 30 days. Except for small claims court (if eligible) or injunctive relief, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

Disputes must be brought only on an individual basis, not as a class or representative action.

Governing Law (Pennsylvania)

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. If arbitration is unenforceable for a dispute, the courts located in Pennsylvania will have exclusive jurisdiction and venue.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time. Upon termination, your license ends and you may lose access to CP, Cards, Packs, inventory, and other virtual items, unless required by law.

Copyright Policy; DMCA Takedown Procedure

If you believe content on the Service infringes a copyright you own or control, email thecricketsix@gmail.com with subject “DMCA Takedown Request” and include:

• Identification of the copyrighted work (or representative list).
• Identification/location of the allegedly infringing material.
• Your contact information and signature.
• A statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act.

We may remove/disable content and may terminate repeat infringers.

Privacy Policy (Summary)

We may collect: account/authentication data (e.g., Supabase auth metadata), profile information you provide, gameplay and usage data (teams, packs, cards, CP balances, objectives), and technical data (device/browser, basic logs).

We use data to operate and secure the Service, run gameplay and rewards, prevent fraud/multi-accounting, provide support, and comply with law. We do not sell user email addresses.

We retain data as long as reasonably necessary and apply reasonable safeguards, though no system is 100% secure. You may request access/correction/deletion by emailing thecricketsix@gmail.com; we may need to verify your identity.
