How do I create a CricSix account?
Click Sign Up from the sign-in flow and follow the prompts. If you run into issues, use the Contact Us form.How do I change my email or password?

What are Cover Points?
Cover Points are The Cricket Six’s in-game currency. They are not tied to any real-world currency and cannot be purchased or withdrawn.How do I earn Cover Points?
You can earn Cover Points through objectives, tournament rewards, daily login bonuses, and by burning cards.Do Cover Points expire?
No—Cover Points never expire.Can I lose Cover Points?
You can’t lose Cover Points, but you can spend it.Do daily or weekly objectives reset?
Yes. Daily objectives reset at midnight IST. Weekly objectives reset at 11:59:59 PM IST on Saturdays.Are objectives auto-claimed?

How do I earn packs?
You can earn packs by completing objectives, winning tournaments, or buying them from the Store.Do packs expire?

In a pack, you receive every card inside it (like a real-world card pack). A pick lets you preview multiple cards and choose a fixed number to keep.Are pack contents random?

You can use the Tiers page to see which players are in each tier.Can I get duplicate players from packs?
Yes.What happens if I get a duplicate card?
It’s added to your collection. You may choose to trade it (when trading is live), burn it, or use it in a different lineup.What happens when I burn cards — do I lose points this week?
No. As long as you own a card at the gameweek submission deadline and your squad is valid, that submission is locked. Any cards burned after that still count for the week they were submitted.
Cards & Ownership
What is a player card?
A player card is like a token that allows you to select that player in your fantasy team. You must have an active (not burned) card for it to score points based on real-world performance.Are cards unique / serialized?
Each player card has a unique Card #.What does “edition” mean on a card?
Special edition cards may be introduced in the future. More details will be revealed later.Can multiple users own the same player?
Yes—multiple users can own the same player, but each card has a unique Card #.How many cards of a player can I own?
There is currently no limit.Is there a maximum number of cards I can own?
Yes, each user can own a maximum of 60 cards. Burned cards do not count towards this limit. Some custom-edition cards (used for private leagues) also may not count.What happens to a card if the real-world player retires?
The card remains on your roster, but will no longer earn points. You may still burn the card if you choose. Players who do not play a match for six months may be marked as inactive.What is a burned card?
Burned cards are permanently destroyed cards. They remain visible in your roster and count toward your scrapbook collection, but cannot be selected, traded, or used in competitions.Can cards be upgraded?
Not at the moment.
Trading & Marketplace
Can I trade cards right now?
Yes, you can make a trade offer on any cards that aren't trade blocked.Can cards be locked from trading?
Yes. You can mark a card as unavailable for trade from your My Players page. This makes it trade blocked.Is there a marketplace?
Yes, the marketplace allows you to buy a listed card directly. This is called a Direct Signing.Are there fees for trading?
Not yet, but a small cover fee may be imposed soon. Check back here for updates.How can I abuse the marketplace?
You can and should not. All transactions are subject to scrutiny, and any user found to be using the marketplace or trading system in any way that's deemed unfair by CricSix can face severe consequences. This includes (but is not limited to) transfering cards between duplicate accounts or demanding real world currency in exchange for CricSix cards. We reserve the right to any action, including banning the user.
Squad Submission & Weekly Flow
How do I build a squad?
Go to Play and click Submit Squad. Select your cards, choose your captain and vice-captain, and submit before the deadline.How many players can I select in a squad?
Currently, squads must have six cards—because six is the magic number in cricket.Are there role restrictions (batsmen, bowlers, etc.)?
Not at the moment.Can I submit multiple teams?
Yes, unless a competition explicitly restricts multiple entries.When does the weekly squad lock?
This depends on the gameweek, which you can view on the Competitions page. Typically, it’s 11:59:59 PM IST on Saturdays.What time zone do gameweek deadlines use?
Most data is displayed in your local time, but our clocks and deadlines usually work on Indian Standard Time (IST). Daily objectives and bonuses reset at midnight IST, and submission deadlines are Saturday midnight IST as well.Can I edit my squad after submitting?
Yes—until the gameweek deadline.What happens if I submit late?
Submissions received after gameweek lock are not eligible for prizes.What if a selected player doesn’t play?
No auto-subs. That player scores 0 points.Can cards be used in multiple competitions at once?
Each card can only be used in one competition at a time. Private leagues are an exception.
Matches & Formats
Which match formats are supported?
Currently, T20, T20Is, and ODIs are supported. We expect to add more formats over time.Do domestic leagues and ICC events count?
Yes. All ICC events involving at least one Full Member nation are covered. Major domestic T20 competitions such as the IPL and BBL are also included.How are abandoned or shortened matches handled?
As long as at least one ball is bowled, points will be awarded for that match.Do super overs count for points?
No—Super Overs do not count toward fantasy points.
Scoring & Points
How do players score fantasy points?
Players score points based on real-world performance. For full details, see the Scoring Matrix.How are captains and vice-captains handled?
Captains score 2× points. If the captain doesn’t play, the vice-captain scores 1.5× points.Are negative points possible?
Yes—players can score negative points.Do points differ by format?
Yes. Refer to the Scoring Matrix for format-specific rules.Can players receive points for fielding contributions (catches or run-outs) if not in the starting XI?
Yes. If the player had a fielding contribution (such as a catch or run-out), they will receive points.Do substitute fielders or concussion subs score points?
Yes, but only if they are involved in at least one point-scoring action (e.g., taking a catch or effecting a run-out).When are weekly points finalized?
Typically within 48 hours of a gameweek ending.Can points change after being finalized?
In rare cases, points may change due to scoring errors identified during the gameweek.
Leaderboards, Prizes & Leagues
How are ties on the leaderboard resolved?
If two submissions score exactly the same number of points, the one that was locked earlier will be ranked higher.Are prizes distributed automatically?
Yes. Prizes are typically distributed automatically within 48–72 hours after a gameweek ends.Can I see prize breakdowns in advance?
Yes—prize pools are visible on each competition’s page.Do private leagues have separate leaderboards?

Private leagues let you compete with friends and can also be used for custom formats (e.g., Discord auctions and drafts).Is there a league entry limit?

Player Stats & Tiers
Where can I see player stats?
Use the Player Scout page, or open an individual player’s profile.What does player tier mean?
Players are assigned one of six tiers: Superstar, International, First-Class, Club, Academy, or Unranked, based on performance over the last six months.How are tiers calculated?
Tiers are recalculated every month. Players' scores over the last 6 months are the only thing directly impacting their tiers. Players who have played less than 3 international matches in the last 6 months will never be tier International or Tier Elite. Players who have played 0 matches are unranked, and often marked inactive. More information regarding tiers will be released soon.Do tiers change over time?
Yes—tiers are recalculated monthly.
Data Sources & Corrections
How is player performance data sourced and verified?
Scorecard data is received manually by our users. While the admin team verifies each submission, some data errors may occasionally slip through. You can raise this by reaching out either from the Contact Us form, or directly.If the score provider updates stats later, do you recalculate?
No. Once a match scorecard is updated, it typically does not change. In exceptional cases, we may correct errors before weekly points are finalized if the issue was on our end.How can I report an incorrect score?
Reach out via Contact Us. Only reports submitted within 24 hours of a match’s conclusion will be reviewed.

Is CricSix mobile-friendly?
The website is currently optimized for desktop use. While it may work on tablets or phones, this is not recommended.Do you have a mobile app?
